“Hamakua Coast”
Hawaiian meaning for “Hamakua” is Breath of God. This coastline is what inspired our move to the Big Island. It is definitely the most beautiful coastline on the island if not the entire state. Waterfalls, Bamboo Forests, jutting lava rock out-croppings, crashing waves, lush farmland and gardens are just some of the sights. This scent captures the vast assortment of the flora and breathtaking beauty of this coastline. An experience of aromatic Bamboo, Salt, Moss, Coral, Sage and rich Vanilla. No need for sunblock or a sun visor, but if you close your eyes and take in a deep breath of this candle you may just hear the bamboo swaying and waves crashing.
Big Island Candles are handmade in Mountain View on Hawai‘i Island. Each richly scented soy wax candle comes in a 4oz tin and will burn from 20-30 hours. Each scent has its own color combination and features contrasting soy wax ‘lava’ chunks as decoration that melt into the candle as it burns.
